Jungian Psychology

The psychology of Carl Jung takes into account the spiritual body in addition to the emotional, physical and mental bodies. Some key Jungian concepts Jennifer draws on for interpretation include:

-the collective + personal unconscious

-animus/anima (masculine/feminine duality)

-the shadow self

-synchronicity

-archetype and instinct

-dreams as a vehicle for subconscious expression

Jennifer finds Jung's inclusive, cosmic view of the human experience to be most effective in spurring self-awareness and psychological development. Having completed the 'Jung At Heart' program via the CG Jung Institute of L.A. with a certification in Jungian studies, Jennifer draws on Jung's theories to help clients adopt a language for self-understanding that includes the soul, and helps cultivate a sense of peace.
